poetry for the signs (or something like it)

aries- you are a fireball and you act as if you need to move through darkness. that is not always the case, & although you may not see it, the world is often lit with the happiness that you’re forgetting to consider when you’re running.

taurus- forget the ones who forgot you. if they didn’t stick around, and made you feel like less of a person, they weren’t really a person at all. you are a shining ball of light and joy, and you deserve someone with a match, not a face ready to blow you out.

gemini- don’t let the sadder parts of the earth get you down. spend more time focusing on the beauty and wonder that your life needs, not the darkness and dreariness that you so truly know.

cancer- confidence is key. the happier you are within yourself, the more light and positivity you’re going to spread to the rest of the people you’re surrounded by. everyone is looking for a hand to hold.

leo- stay close to those who support you through everything. when things get hard, remember those who stuck by you all these years. its okay to want to be held sometimes.

virgo- perfection is hideous. cracks and scars are what makes the image all the more beautiful. you need to shatter at one point or another, that way light can get in and you can spread your glowing, vibrant wings.

libra- time runs out. eventually. take every single moment you can and turn it into something that’ll play back when it’s all finally over. take a damn risk. jump towards something that’ll make you happier later on.

scorpio- don’t take anything seriously. if you look at life like its ending, you’re never going to feel like you did enough. crave adventure and practice grace and being positive when you’re not doing something crazy.

sagittarius- if you keep cutting yourself down or wearing yourself thin trying to make sure everyone else stays happy, you’re going to feel like there’s bricks in your chest. this life is yours, let everyone do something for themselves, not wait for you to do it.

capricorn- be nice to people even when they’re on your last nerve. being nice pays off a hell of a lot more than getting upset at someone for something that doesn’t matter. karma is real and if you’re good enough to her, she’ll reward you with an unforgettable moment.

aquarius- don’t break anyone’s heart. be spontaneous, quirky and powerful but remember that you are quite special. people love you more than you love them sometimes, and you have to let people go without leaving a scar.

pisces- whatever is going on inside of your head, fix it or write it down so that you can be free again. don’t let something silly fill your mind with hazy water. you are better than that.
